一種線切割放電加工機放電點偵測系統與方法，係用以偵測線切割放電加工機的放電點，首先係分別量測出流經線切割放電加工機的上、下導電塊之電流，接著分別對量測出之電流進行比較以得出差額，再依據比較出的差額推算出放電點位置，藉此，即可於製程中確認線切割放電加工機的放電點位置，進而即時調整線切割放電加工機的加工參數，俾使放電點平均分佈。
The invention provides a system and method for detecting electric-discharge points of a line-cutting electric-discharge processing machine, comprising first measuring electric currents flowing through the upper and lower electrically conductive blocks of the processing machine respectively, and comparing the measured electric currents to obtain a difference therebetween so that the position of the electric-discharge points can be inferred therefrom accordingly, thereby confirming and adjusting processing parameters of the processing machine to achieve even distribution of electric-discharge points.
