技術摘要 / Our Technology:
一種單模態晶體光纖,係包括一纖心,為一熔點在1900°C以上之晶體材料;以及一纖衣,係將相同於該纖心材質之晶體材料透過浸鍍法及在真空低壓0.5托耳(torr)以下以高溫1800°C以上燒結包覆於該纖心之外層,使得該纖衣厚度可控制在0.05 μm~10 mm之間,以固態生長成完全與該纖心相同之單晶結構而無任何陶瓷成分者。藉此,本發明使用浸鍍法把同纖心材質之纖衣附著在晶體光纖上,可控制纖衣厚度,並運用真空高溫燒結,使得纖衣固態生長成完全與該纖心一樣的單晶結構,沒有任何陶瓷成分,在真空環境燒結,使晶體內之孔洞相對於常壓燒結相比達到最小最少。 A single mode crystal optical fiber comprises a fiber core that is a crystal material in which the melting point is above 1900 degree Celsius; and a fiber cloth, through immersion plating, that sinters and clads the crystal material identical to the fiber core material over the outer layer of the fiber core at above 1800 degree Celsius at below 0.5 torr of vacuum low pressure so that the thickness of the fiber cloth can be controlled between 0.05 [mu]m and 10 mm, thereby growing a mono-crystal structure that is completely identical to the fiber core at solid state without any ceramic compound. Accordingly, the invention uses immersion plating to attach the fiber cloth identical to the fiber core material on the crystal optical fiber, capable of controlling the thickness of the fiber cloth and applying vacuum high temperature sintering such that the fiber cloth grows at solid state into the mono-crystal structure that is completely identical to the fiber core without any ceramic compound sintered in vacuum environment. Accordingly, the pores within the crystal achieve the minimum by relatively comparing with atmospheric pressure sintering.
