本技術首創建立將製膠、蛋白分離、及轉漬等西方墨點法所需步驟之多合一整合型水平式平台，成功進行西方墨點法。相較於傳統西方墨點法，可大幅降低因傳統西方墨點法所需多台機型方能完成所有程序的繁複性，進而改善西方墨點法結果穩定性。此平台的設計也大量減少操作時間及所需試劑用量，顯著改善西方墨點法執行效率。
This technology is the first to establish an all-in-one integrated horizontal platform that integrates the steps required for Western blotting, such as gel making, protein separation, and transfer staining, and successfully performs Western blotting. Compared with the traditional Western blotting method, the complexity of multiple machines required to complete all procedures can be significantly reduced, thereby improving the stability of the results of the Western blotting method. The design of this platform also dramatically reduces the operation time and the amounts of reagents required, significantly improving the efficiency of Western blotting.

西方墨點法之2023 年市場價值高達6.673 億美元，可見其市場之龐大，根據市場調查可知，耗材成本在西方墨點法中份額最高，且學術及研究機構為最大宗之終端使用者，若本技術能成功商品化，將嘉惠許多研究經費的消耗，節省許多社會成本，並因潛在客戶量龐大，商品化後之整體利益亦不可小覷。
The market value of the Western blotting method in 2023 is as high as US$667.3 million, which shows the vast market. According to market research, the cost of consumables has the highest share in the Western blotting method, and academic and research institutions are the largest group of end users. The successful commercialization of this new technology will benefit a lot of research funds and save a lot of social costs. And because of the enormous number of potential customers, the overall benefits after commercialization cannot be underestimated.
