本案為一種利用表面電漿波輔助寫入之磁光複合式記錄之碟片結構，該碟片結構之組成，由下而上至少包含基底、第一介電層、表面電漿波作用層、第二介電層、磁性記錄層、保護層及潤滑層，其中第一介電層與表面電漿波作用層之間，以及第二介電層與表面電漿波作用層之間，可以產生表面電漿波，以獲得近場強度強化及光聚焦之效果，藉以在磁性記錄層加熱記錄磁區，並輔助寫入磁場源控制記錄磁區之磁矩方向，將資料寫入記錄磁區內。
The present invention provides a disc structure of magnetic-optical composite recording using surface plasma wave for assisting recording, which comprises, from top to bottom, a base, a first dielectric layer, a surface plasma wave functioning layer, a second dielectric layer, a magnetic recording layer, a protection layer, and a lubrication layer. Plasma waves can be generated between the first dielectric layer and the surface plasma wave functioning layer and between the surface plasma wave functioning layer and the second dielectric layer to enhance near-field strength and obtain optical focus effects so as to heat up the recording domain on the magnetic recording layer and assist the recording magnetic field source in controlling the magnetic torque direction of the recording domain for data recording in the recording domain.
