一種擴增實境裝置及其方法，擴增實境裝置包括一立體攝影機、一觸控面板以及一處理單元。該立體攝影機用於拍攝一真實物件及一真實場景。該觸控面板用於感應一手勢。該處理單元電性連接至該立體攝影機及該觸控面板，用於建立對應該真實物件之一虛擬模型，將該虛擬模型及該真實場景結合後成一合成影像，並使該合成影像顯示於該觸控面板上，以及判斷該手勢以對該虛擬模型執行操作。本發明能即時建立真實物件之虛擬模型並能透過手勢與虛擬模型即時互動。
Disclosed are an augmented reality apparatus and a method thereof. The augmented reality apparatus includes a stereo camera, a touch panel, and a processing unit. The stereo camera is utilized for capturing a real object and a real scene. The touch panel is utilized for sensing a gesture. The processing unit is electrically connected to the stereo camera and the touch panel for building a virtual model corresponding to the real object, combining the virtual model with the real scene to form a synthesized image, displaying the synthesized image on the touch panel, and determining the gesture for performing an operation on the virtual model. The present invention is capable of building the virtual model instantaneously and interacting with the virtual model through the gesture in real time.
